The organisers of this mountain trail running event, which includes the Ronda dels Cims (170km), Mític (112km), Celestrail (83km) and Marató dels Cims (42km) have just announced a new ultra running event for the 2017 edition.

To be run in pairs across a distance of 233kms, Euforia will start two days before the other events which take place over the weekend, on July 5th. The ultra combines a total combined ascent of 20,000m.

Set in this tiny mountain country in the heart of the Pyrenees, Euforia will be an endurance event for pairs of runners along an unmarked course and all participants will be provided with a map and a GPS tracker by the organisers.

With only four base camps, the route will traverse a high number of summits and passes of which five peaks are above 2900m and four are higher than 2800m. The final cut-off for the event will be Sunday, July 9th at 9pm.

Registration for the 2017 edition of the Andorra Ultra Trail – Vallnord will open in November.
