Female British ultra runner, Jo Williams, has triumphed at the Richtersveld Transfrontier Wildrun winning the race outright with Tobias Mews coming in second.
The Richtersveld Transfrontier Wildrun, one of the most beautiful ultras and challenging ultras in southern Africa ultras has just finished after a storming race. It is a 200km, five-day foot race from South Africa to Namibia through the ancient arid landscape of the /Ai/Ais-Richtersveld Transfrontier Park.
Jo Williams took first place in the run with a fantastic time of 22.23.01 and Tobias Mews came in in second place and as first man with 22.42.00.
Women’s second and third places went to Linda Doke and Elisabet Barnes respectively and men’s second and third were Dawid Kaswarie and Daniel Mayes
