Say goodbye to the Norwegian Salomon Xreid at Hardangervidda and welcome the new Xreid edition Senja, the country’s second largest island, on July 1st 2016.
Previously organized in Northern Europe’s greatest mountain plateau the organisers are leading all ultra runners south as they set up at a new location.
Known for their desire to always create something unique, the first three editions at Hardangervidda had different ultra distances (155k, 123k and 128k), this time, for the 2016 event the challenge has moved to Senja, an island north of the Arctic Circle, in the midnight sun.
Crossing the island from south to north, with the finish line at Mefjorvær, the 2016 Salomon Xreid Senja trail running event is 122km long.
The application process opens on February 2nd.
