Many congratulations to Sarah Ridgeway who is the lucky winner of our latest inov-8 Race Elite 140 Stormshell prize draw.
Sarah is a running guide and runs a guiding business called Run Snowdonia. She actually won the race she reviewed – the Lakes Sky Ultra. What we particularly liked was her beginning and the juxtaposition of hideous weather and her enthusiasm from the start.
“The weather was relentless in what is the first year of running the race (2015), with driving rain and high winds, resulting in the sensible decision to not include Pinnacle Ridge (Grade 3 scramble). The start is sublime.”
“Sublime,” just what we were thinking.
