ODLO, the Norwegian sportswear brand, that first grew out of skiing, and has just released some very tasty base layers, has signed up a raft of new ambassadors to spread the word about its products and its sporting ambitions including Robbie Britton and Natalie White.

NATALIE WHITE – Ultra running

Natalie White is a mountain and ultra distance runner who has run for Great Britain multiple times.

Starting at the age of nine, Natalie was running for England and Great Britain throughout her
teenage years at World and European Mountain Running Championships.

In recent years Natalie has started running longer distances, culminating in completing one of the toughest ultra marathons in the world, the 338km Tor des Geants, in an impressive 118 hours. With just eight hours of sleep over the five days, Natalie battled severe weather, altitude, technical terrain and sleep deprivation to finish 11th Lady.

ROBBIE BRITTON – Ultra Running

Robbie is a British International Ultra Marathon Runner and Coach. He was 3rd at the World 24hr Running Championships, running 261km in a single day.

He is based in Chamonix, France, with his fiancée Natalie White (above) and their dog Rosa.

Future projects include the UTMB CCC and Montreux Trail Festival, and the 2019 Baikal Traverse record attempt – 600km across the frozen surface of Lake Baikal, Siberia, where temperatures regularly drop below -20 degrees.

Not just content with frozen lakes, Robbie likes to run across countries, crossing 330km over Iceland in 2015 and Bulgaria, via the 580km Balkan Kom-Emine trail, in 2017.

Natalie and Robbie join an array of other athletes from different disciplines.

“We have chosen these few athletes as Odlo is known for supporting and championing sporting endeavours,” says James Clark, country manager at Odlo UK & Ireland. “We are delighted to start working with such an exceptional group of athletes and performers, and excited to branch out into newer fields such as acrobatics and dance. These athletes will be actively contributing to the #ODLO100 initiative, which is a campaign we have selected to find 100 inspirational people worldwide to represent the brand.”

And it may not be in the ultra field, but we were also interested to see that canicross was included (an idea for the future for Rosa – Robbie and Natalie?)

AGATA ZAREMBA – Canicross

Based in Edinburgh, Agata is a canicross athlete and has been running with her with her two rescue dogs for almost two years.

What originally started off as a hobby for her has led Agata to not only compete internationally but has also had a positive effect on her arthritis.

Agata came third in the fastest newcomer in Scottish Canicross Championships and sixth at the British National Championships.

"These athletes will be actively contributing to the #ODLO100 initiative, which is a campaign we have selected to find 100 inspirational people worldwide to represent the brand"
